F.A.Q
What's the difference between die-cut graphics and a vinyl wrap? Firstly die-cut (or computer cut) vinyl is done in layers of colours, the more colours required the more required the more vinyl is used. These layers are
then assembled in order to make up a colour scheme or logo. It has excellent UV stability with 5 - 7 years outdoor life. A wrap is digitally printed onto a single layer of vinyl, using unlimited colours on the on layer. Its UV stability is low only lasting 2 years outdoors, however with the
addition of a UV laminate this would be extended an additional 2 years.
Will it hurt my paint? A lot depends on the paintwork its being applied too, it will not damage paintwork that has been professionally painted and baked. In most cases our graphics and wraps actually protect you paintwork,
similar to a paint protection film.
How long does it take? For die-cut graphics we generally will need the vehicle for 1 - 2 days, but for vinyl wraps we will require the vehicle for 2 - 4 days.
Is it difficult to remove? Once again it depends of the quality of paintwork it was originally put on to. Good paintwork will allow you to remove the quite easily, die-cut graphics may leave some glue residue behind which
is easily removed with De-Solvit, vinyl wrapping leaves no glue residue on removal.
